Vascular Lesions Treatment
Are veins your pain? We have you covered!
Facial & leg veins can be bothersome and unsightly. Fortunately, our medical-grade laser machine is able to treat multiple types of vascular lesions safely & effectively, leaving you free to go out again confidently!
What causes unwanted veins?
Red, blue or purple veins can result from sun exposure, use of oral contraception, hormone therapy, age or genetics.
How are veins treated?
The Nd:YAG laser emits a prescribed dose of energy to the vein. The laser selectively targets the problematic veins while the surrounding skin is left unharmed. Nd:YAG laser is the most effective laser used to treat vascular lesions of all sizes & types. The laser is gentle enough to use on the facial areas such as the cheek, temporal region, nasal dorsum and forehead and on the legs.
Who’s it for?
Anyone who wants to get rid of their vascular lesions forever!
Is it painful?
It is virtually painless! Our Zimmer system blows out -30 degrees cold air before, during, and after the treatment to cool & numb the skin, removing the need for any anesthetic.
How many treatments are needed?
Generally, only 2 to 3 treatments are required every 6-8 weeks. The results are immediate and continue to improve for the next 4-6 weeks.
How can I prep for the treatment?
For the best possible outcome, it is best to perform this treatment on skin that is NOT tanned.
Please arrive at the appointment with clean skin, free from makeup, lotion, powder, etc.
What can I expect during the treatment?
Before, during, and after the treatment, we use an integrated award-winning system that blows out -30 degrees cold air to keep the skin cool & numb throughout. Minimizing the side effects & maximizing your comfort!
During the treatment, you will notice immediate results. When we trace over the vein with the laser, the vein will begin to disappear & diminish.
Is there any downtime?
This treatment is non-invasive. The downtime is very minimal. Following the treatment, the area treated will be a little red & some vascular lesions may swell for a few hours.
Keep in mind, you will need to avoid any excessive exercise for a minimum or 5 days post-treatment in order to get the most benefit from the treatment.
