The Perfect Solution!

If shaving, waxing, threading, tweezing, or any other form of temporary hair removal is not working for you, Laser Hair Removal is for you! Laser Hair Removal is a non-invasive laser treatment designed to permanently reduce unwanted hair. The laser device works by emitting pulses of light energy that penetrate the skin and destroy hair follicles. With the appropriate laser technology, all skin types can be treated safely. Darker skin types can be particularly at risk of side effects if treated with IPL or the wrong type of laser. That is why at Fade Away Laser & Skin Centre we only use gold-standard lasers. The Nd:Yag laser is the gold-standard laser to treat darker skin tones as it is the safest & most effective laser to use on darker skin tones. The Alexandrite laser is the gold standard laser for lighter skin tones because it has the highest melanin absorption and is proven to give the best results.

Frequently Asked Questions

How many laser hair treatments are needed?

For the best outcome, we recommend 6 to 8 treatments for the full results. However, you will notice a difference from the first treatment! The number of sessions required varies from person to person, depending on skin type, hair colour, the thickness of the hair and the area being treated.

Each hair strand cycles through 3 growth phases. Only the hair in the Anagen phase can be destroyed. However, not every hair can be in the same phase at the same time, hence, multiple treatments are needed. After each treatment, you will notice a substantial reduction in hair.

Is laser hair removal painful?

It’s virtually painless! We use an integrated cooling system that numbs & cools the skin before, during, and after the treatment.
