Before the treatment
Before beginning the treatment, our licensed physician will conduct a consultation to confirm whether you are a good candidate for Restylane Skin Boosters.
When you have been given the green light for the procedure, there is not a lot of preparation that you need to do. If you are hoping to have this done before a major event, you will need to do it well ahead of time.
Prior to your appointment, make sure that your face is well-washed and avoid taking ibuprofen or acetaminophen prior to the appointment. This will help prevent bruising.
During the treatment
After you have been fully consulted, we will take a series of photos to monitor the progress of the treatment and results.
An anaesthetic cream may be applied to minimize any discomfort.
The Restylane Skinboosters treatment involves making a number of micro-injections deep into the skin of the target area with a tiny needle. The procedure takes about 15 minutes.
There may be some swelling and bruising immediately afterwards.
After the treatment
Post-care guidelines for treatment with Restylane Skinboosters are minimal. You can resume regular activities almost immediately after. However, we recommend waiting three days before performing any rigorous exercise, such as running or lifting any heavy weights. The same recovery timeline applies to your second treatment session and, if necessary, your third visit.
You will notice your results gradually appear in the weeks following the procedure. A series of 3 treatments, each spaced about 4 weeks apart, is required to achieve optimal results.
